Master Key Lock

A master key is a main key that is made to access a number of different locks that are not keyed the same. Master keys are commonly used in commercial setups where the master key holder may have a key to their office's main door that can also open the bathroom, or a maintenance staff may have a master key that opens every door in the same building.

Master keys are usually being used by apartment owners where they can open each door of their rented rooms/flats, and on the other hand, each tenant also have a key to their own and specific unit. Other common areas in the apartment can also be opened using this key including the main door of the entire building. However, it does not have the ability to access all doors in the entire apartment unlike master keys.
